Stake our claim to the greenspace at Tom Brown park

The LRT is claiming the greenspace at Tom Brown park for parking. As such, we need to stake our claim to the greenspace at Tom Brown park.

Please come out every Thur at 5pm to Tom Brown Park -141 Bayview Station Rd. till the fences come down. Kick a ball, bring your dog, play music, have a picnic supper. If it rains we will still be there for a while.

Please continue to write to Mayor Watson (Jim.Watson@ottawa.ca), Councillor Hubley (Allan.Hubley@ottawa.ca, Councillor Leiper (Jeff.Leiper@ottawa.ca) and copy the HCA (info@hintonburg.com).  Councillor Leiper is working on trying to find a solution to this.

There are 70 parking spots at Tom Brown Arena they could use - still leaving about 20 spots for the Respite Centre.

If you have not seen it here are links to and the video made by neighbour Jake Hanna.
